Every once in a while there is a band that comes along and completely floors me with the entirety of the music that they put out. The Presets are, by far, one of the best bands currently creating music. They are slightly reminescent of the Pet Shop Boys, but with more current techno and electronica influences, deep bass lines, tragic vocals and emotionally charged lyrics.

- I was borne into the mist and rains of the Pacific Northwest, being raised in the liberal communities of Portland, Oregon. I am thankful for each and every hardship that I was put through, from my alcoholic father and my mentally incapable young mother, and take each lesson that they have taught me and applied it to my life. However, most children use their parents as examples to FOLLOW, whereas I have learned from my predecessors what NOT to do. I thank them for fucking up so much so that I may avoid those downfalls. I moved out on my own when I was sixteen and have never looked back since. It's been a long, tough road. My hands are calloused from climbing the cliffs of success, while my feet and ankles are cracked and bruised from being stomped on by thick-soled shoes in the rush of life. There is a time for healing, though, and rest comes upon me and the tea is warm and my cat purrs to calm me while I fight back the urge to FIGHT BACK. I remain, as always.
